Earlier this year the Coastech team partook in the extension of the South Queensland Boarder District Touch Football club house, where we donated time, plant, equipment and materials. The extension has doubled the size of the clubhouse and includes a training room, first aid room, referee rooms and an additional bathroom. The project was partially funded by the Queensland Sport and Recreation ‘Get Play’ program which provides funding for infrastructure development so that more Queenslanders can be involved in sport and active recreation.
A very large thank you to all the tradesman and suppliers whom donated time and materials to the project. The Touch Football Club provides the community with a great venue and facilitates more than 850 adults and 600 juniors players per week. It is with much gratitude that we could be a part of the project that contributes so much to the community.
